The Government has published its national evaluation of the Troubled Families Program 2015–2020. There’s lots of detail in this latest report, and not all of the news is as positive as it’s being made to sound, but the material on the transformation of local services is of particular relevance to PSTA and its partners. Among the conclusions drawn:
- families at risk are being identified more proactively and can therefore receive support earlier
- the programme’s [standardisation] approach to data recording and sharing between local services has created a whole family focus
- relationships with schools, health and police are all improving
- families value keyworker support
The infographic below offers a summary of the report, but for the full picture, download the reports and datasets from the .GOV webpage.
