Interested in CollaborateCIC’s “Human / Learning / Systems” framework, as expounded in their recent Exploring the New World report, but worried you don’t have the time to hunt through a whole report to find the stuff that’s most useful to you? Well, you’re in luck, because Collaborate clearly had someone just exactly like you in mind when they decided to upload the report as four separate sections. Here’s the links:
- Full report
- Main report (without examples and tools)
- Examples and Tools
- Case studies
- Executive summary
And just in case you’d forgotten what the Human / Learning / Systems framework was all about, here’s your reminder that, according to this report, effective funders, commissioners and frontline staff do these three things:
– Being Human to one another: they recognise and respond to human variety with bespoke support, they build empathy between people, they recognise the strengths of others, and they seek to trust and be trusted.
– Using Learning to enable performance improvement: they use a variety of both quantitative and qualitative data to learn; they create learning cultures; and they fund and commission for learning, not for the delivery of specified services.
– Looking after the health of the Systems which create social outcomes: they create the conditions in which people can understand the systems of which they are part, and enable effective collaboration and co-ordination of actors within these systems.
Got that? Good. Now go get (part of) the report, eh?
