Catch up on Social Outcomes Conference outcomes

Were you hoping to get to the GO Lab for their Social Outcomes Conference back at the beginning of the month, but found yourself too busy, too far away, or otherwise unable? Well, never fear, because you can catch up on all the action at your own pace: the GO Lab gang have made all the presentation slides available on the conference webpage, alongside video footage of all the plenary talks.
(In light of our recent post raising a slightly skeptical eyebrow at the recent promotional push on SIBs, some of the titles of the plenary sessions are fairly illuminating: “Can’t get you out of my head: Overly fixated on the SIB tool?” is suggestive, but “Are impact bonds just public-private partnerships (PPPs) with a specified social outcome?” just gets straight to the point. But what did they conclude? Well, you’d have to click on through to find out, wouldn’t you…)
And if you’re still hungry for more, GO Lab notables will be sharing their thoughts’n’feels in the aftermath of the conference via their “knowledge platform” (don’t be intimidated — it’s just a posh name for another bit of the website, really). And we’d be remiss if we failed to mention that if you really want to stay on top of all the hottest and freshest GO Lab action, you should probably sign up to their newsletter. Be sure to tell them we sent you, OK?
