Places are now available on a two-day Asset-Based Community Development workshop offered by Nurture Development and their strategic partners Croydon Voluntary Action. The workshop is aimed at ABCD enthusiasts in the Greater London Area, and those working in VCSEs throughout the UK.
CVA have demonstrated exemplary commitment to the ABCD principles over the last six years, and have enabled asset based community driven change to take root in many neighbourhoods across Croydon. The workshop is designed to demystify both the theory and the practice of Asset-based Community Development, and supporting attendees in deepening their practice and impact. This event is part of Nurture Development’s 2017-18 series of UK-wide ABCD Workshops, which have been designed to be the most affordable, most credible and most citizen-and-practitioners focused workshops on Asset-Based Community Development available anywhere in Europe.
Nurture Development recommend practitioners to invite a local neighbourhood resident that they are working with, who they know to be passionate about community building and weaving their community together: each ticket, at a cost of £200, covers one practitioner and a local community member for both days of the workshop, where a light lunch will be provided.
