CCIN Annual Conference & Co-operative Showcase 2018

The Co-operative Councils Innovation Network extends an invitation to attend the CCIN Annual Conference & Co-operative Showcase, to be hosted by Croydon Council on Thursday 4th October. The conference presents an ideal opportunity to hear how Co-operative Councils from across the country are working with local people to build strong and resilient neighbourhoods, to meet other co-operators from around the country, to share ideas, and to network.
The conference programme includes a keynote talk from Steve Reed MP, Honorary President of the CCIN and Shadow Minister for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, and for Civil Society. There are also three themed panels on the following topics:
- Panel 1: Creating a co-operative commonwealth
- Panel 2: Community wealth building in a post-Brexit Britain
- Panel 3: Sustainable societies through Co-operation
In addition, there are three “fringe” themes: Modern Slavery, Sustainable Food Places, and The Role of Scrutiny in Co-operative Councils.
