Connected Places Catapult is running an online Innovation Challenge Masterclass on Wednesday 14 October 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 UK time.
The session uses Westminster City Council's work with the Innovation Procurement Empowerment Centre to examine how a local authority defined an air-quality problem, engaged the market, tested solutions in a live environment, and generated evidence for future procurement and investment.
The first 45 minutes are a practical masterclass. The second half is a drop-in surgery for local-authority teams working on air quality, implementation barriers, market engagement, and possible trials.
